This weekend we got eight eggs from our eight hens, for the first time, so we can now be confident that they are all laying. For the last couple of weeks we have typically been getting six eggs a day (and occasionally seven).

I love finding and collecting eggs, although we have 11 hens in total we probably average around 7 eggs a day. Still plenty for us to be getting on with!
Thanks for the comment Karen. We can’t quite keep up with our six or seven eggs per day and give away about a dozen a week, to friends and family. They are very popular !
